Show Your Work

Week 1 close. Morning polish sprint and cross-team testing, then team app Demo Day with invited guests. Both teams presented their PRD evolution stories.

What Happened

Demo Day capped an intense first week. The morning cross-team swap produced real feedback, and teams used it to polish before presentations. Both teams delivered compelling walkthroughs — problem, users, live demo, PRD evolution, what's next. The energy was celebration mixed with hunger to keep building.

Key Moments

  • Cross-team testing produced genuinely useful feedback — not just polite reactions
  • Both team presentations told compelling PRD evolution stories
  • Students celebrated what they built in one week

Student Highlights

“Showing our app to someone outside the class and seeing them actually want to use it — that was the moment.”

— Maddie

Day Content (original)

The PRD Evolution Story

Here’s how our thinking developed day by day. Each team tells the story of how their PRD grew richer—and how their app grew with it.

Your presentation should include:

  • The problem and who it’s for
  • Live demo of the app
  • The PRD evolution: Day 1 Masterplan → Day 2 User Journey → Day 3 Design → Day 4 Features → Today’s polished build
  • What you’d build next with more time

Learning Targets (as planned)

Knowledge

  • Bug fixing and UX refinement strategies
  • Giving and receiving real feedback
  • Presentation storytelling — the PRD evolution story

Skills

  • Cross-team user testing
  • Presenting design work with live demos
  • Articulating the build journey

Mindset

  • Real reactions, not polite ones
  • Celebrate what you built in a week

Up Next

Weekend seed planted — think about what you'd build for your own specialty. Week 2 shifts to solo apps.
